25th May 2014
At the 2014 Scottish All-Rover Rally held at Lauriston Castle over the Bank Holiday weekend our 1999 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE was voted best in class. Finished in the rare colours of Dorchester Red with Aubergine leather interior the car was treated to the S-2-S Complete Service prior to the show. Before to coming to us the car was no pampered "show queen" having had 8 previous owners and covered nearly 120000 miles.
Since opening in February 2010 Scratch-2-Shine has notched up 2 Best-in-Shows, 2 Class wins and a 3rd Place at shows and Owner's Club gatherings around the Country, not just with our own vehicles but for customer's cars too.

O2 Network failure.
3rd August 2012:
We would like to apologise to any customers who experienced any difficulty in contacting us during the recent O2 network crash. Obviously this was outside of our control and as frustrating to us as it was to our clients.
Normal service has now been resumed, so please get back in touch and let us do our very best to help you.
New Service Added: Headlight Lens Refubishment.
21st June 2012:
Modern headlight lenses are made from plastic; over time impact and UV damage makes them go cloudy and yellow. Apart from looking very unsightly, there is also a safety issue here as the lights no longer perform to their full capability. Potentially the car could fail its MOT and require new headlight units, in some cases these cost hundreds of pounds.
Scratch-2-Shine now offers a refurbishment service; like our sprayless scratch repairs, this can be carried out at your location and while-you-wait.
Order our Complete Service and receive FREE headlight lens refubishment until 31st October 2012.
Concours Win for Scratch-2-Shine.
1st June 2010:
A nine year old Rover 75 owned by Scratch-2-Shine's Tim Burgess won its class at the Scottish All-Rover Rally Concours held at the Falkirk Wheel on the weekend of 29th & 30th May 2010.
The metallic Royal Blue car with Sandstone leather interior was in daily use until 2009 and covered up to 1000 miles a week.
Tim performed sprayless scratch and stone chip repairs to the bumpers, bonnet, roof, doors and bootlid before completely polishing the car and applying SSR Super Glaze Teflon Sealant. The interior and engine compartment were also cleaned and detailed.
